Glentress TweedLove Family Day

It’s all about having fun on your bike, for kids of all ages!

The Event

Welcome to the Glentress TweedLove Family Day presented by Ridelines, Britain’s biggest kids cycle event! An event that’s all about taking part and having fun on your bike. Across the day there is a programme of fun ‘races’ for kids of all ages – seeing how many laps they can do, or just going that wee bit faster. Every child will get a TweedLove medal and their very own number board to take home!

There are no winners’ podiums because everyone’s a winner here!

For the first time ever, Glentress will play host to the Family Day. Expect smiles all round as all ages can enjoy a whole weekend of bikes & mini-festival vibes.

Balance bikes: Solo riders.

Balance A | 10.00am – 10.20am | up to 5 years
Balance B | 10.25am – 10.45am | up to 5 years
Balance C |10.50am – 11.10am | up to 5 years

Pedal bikes 1: Solo riders

Pedal bikes 1 | 10.00am – 11:00am | 5 – 6 years

Pedal bikes 2: Solo riders

Pedal bikes 2 | 11:00am – 12:30pm | 7 – 9 years

Pedal bikes 3: Solo riders

Pedal bikes 3 | 12:30pm – 13:15 | 10 – 11 years

Pedal bikes 4: Solo riders

Pedal bikes 4 | 13:15 – 14:15 | 12 – 13 years

5 & under
5 to 6 years old
7 to 9 years old
10 to 11 years old
12 to 13 years old

Please choose an age category by the child’s age on the day of the event.

Important Notes

Bring your own bikes.
Helmets compulsory.
No stabilisers and no three wheelers allowed.
A parent or responsible adult must stay with participating children throughout. Adult name and contact for this person can be confirmed/recorded at registration on the day.

Arrive & register 30 minutes before your child’s event.

Children should go the the start area 10 minutes before their event.
