We’re looking for volunteers to help make TweedLove the very best it can be. Whether you can spare a few hours or a few days, your help will make all the difference. It really is true that volunteers make these events and without volunteers they simply couldn’t happen, so if you’ve got any time to spare, read on!
As ever, we can’t do it without a lot of help, and we’re trying to make sure everyone who helps gets as much out of it as possible too. Helping at these events can be a lot of fun and you get a backstage, up-close experience of the event, and an exclusive crew t-shirt of course.
We need people to fill every kind of role you can imagine (registration, course marking, marshalling and event village staff, trail building). If you sign up to volunteer on one of our event days we will definitely need your help. For other set up and take down days we will confirm if you are required closer to the dates. If we haven’t been in contact at least a week prior to the dates you’ve signed up for don’t hesitate to chase us up.
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
What’s the deal?
Volunteers need to be at least sixteen years of age. You’ll need to be available to volunteer for at least half a day. Event volunteers are usually required to start at around 8am and finish will depend on what volunteer role you are allocated. If you’re volunteering outside, marshalling or course marking for example, you’ll need lots of warm clothes and everything you need to be comfortable, dry and warm for a whole day outside.
Keen? Awesome! Sign up here or drop us a line at email@example.com for more information! It’s a lot of fun (honest) and you’ll have our team’s eternal thanks!
Who’s making it happen?
New for 2022 is our Volunteer & Crew Coordinator Sarah Birks, who will be dedicating all her time at Hillside Outside to all things volunteers. We’re also really excited to announce that Cullen Kilshaw are our official Tweed Valley Crew Partners this year. Their supports means new T-shirts, new High viz’s, great lunches and much more!
