Cranked Short Circuit 2018

Cranked Short Circuit
Supported by G-Form and Islabikes

Calling TweedLove rippers. Cranked Cycle Club in Peebles have created their own fun and friendly trail race which in many ways is just like the Glentress Seven – but for younger riders. Now in its fourth year, it’s a pairs race which features a short 1.2km loop giving riders a taste of a XC style trail riding. Joining the TweedLove calendar for the first time last year, the event was hugely popular and had record entries. Pairs can be male, female or mixed*.

Using the skills area next to Buzzards Nest car park, the course has been designed to provide a challenging but safe experience, incorporating twisting single track, a switchback descent, a small rock garden and a sprint fire road finish. For younger or less confident riders there are easier options.

The aim is for your team to complete as many laps as it can in the time allocated – riders take alternate laps with only one team member at a time on the course.

First race from 10:30am
Riders must register beforehand and registration will be open from approx. 8:30am on the morning of the event (time will be confirmed prior to the event).
