The Collective storm the 1st round of the Borders Mini Downhill Series
The 2019 Borders Mini Downhill Series kicked off on Sunday at Innerleithen and it was 4/6 on the podium for the TweedLove Collective.
The Birks boys set out with top ten finishes as their goal and nailed it with Ally landing 2nd and Billy 9th in the Juvenile category. A solid performance from both the young lads!
Superstar Phoebe, very convincingly, picked up the win in the Female Youth category with a 51.675s lead. Her 2019 is truly off to a flyer; top of the box at the first round of the UK Downhill Series, 2nd place at Inners SDA and another big win at our very own Vallelujah! #Fire
After two, rather massive, crashes David still managed to bag a 3rd in the Male Youth category with Thomas finishing mid-pack at 16th place. A strong run from both guys!
And last but certainly not least Cammy stormed the Juniors and landed top of the box with a 6.682s lead, and he was anxious to be running the No 1 number board…
So, all in all it was another stellar performance from the team – catch some of them at Round 2 at Ae Forest in May!
