What’s involved?

We need people to fill every kind of role you can imagine (registration, course marking, marshalling and event village staff, trail Building). If you sign up to volunteer on one of our event days we will definitely need your help for other set up and take down days we will confirm if you are required closer to the dates. If we haven’t been in contact at least a week prior to the dates you’ve signed up for don’t hesitate to chase us up.

What we’re looking for

Volunteers need to be at least sixteen years of age. You’ll need to be available to volunteer for at least half a day. Event volunteers are usually required to start at around 8am and finish will depend on what volunteer role you are allocated. If you’re volunteering outside, marshalling or course marking for example, you’ll need lots of warm clothes and everything you need to be comfortable, dry and warm for a whole day outside.

What you’ll get in return

As well as the chance to get trackside for the best racing in the valley you’ll also get our never ending gratitude, and a t-shirt, and if you volunteer for a whole day or more you’ll also get:

Free entry into a prize draw to win some great prizes.

If you volunteer for a whole day at a live event, we’ll get you lunch.

You also might get a wee bit of fame, and we hope you’ll have a pretty great time on the job!

What now?

Keen? Awesome! drop us a line or go to one of the links above and we’ll be in touch. It’s a lot of fun (honest) and you’ll have Bike Valley’s eternal thanks!
