Cycle Law Scotland Skinny Tweed has been part of the TweedLove Bike Festival since the very beginning. Covering a distance of approximately 75km, the route travels mainly over quiet back roads, and some short stretches of A roads will also be included. Have a look at the route here! Please note this is not a closed road circuit, but it will be clearly signposted throughout.

Cycle Law Scotland Skinny Tweed is all about a fine road ride, in good company, with smiles all the way. If you’ve never done a Sportive before, this is the perfect opportunity to have a go, in a relaxed atmosphere. If you’re training for a bigger event such as the Tesco Bank Tour O The Borders closed road sportive, it’s a good way to see how the legs are doing.
Sign on is in Peebles on the Sunday morning from 8am – 10:15am
You must sign on to receive your number board.
First riders start from 8:10am, last rider out by 10.30am. Riders leave in waves with 5-15 min gaps between rider groups.
Electronic timing included and results will be posted on the event web page after the event.
All riders must complete the course by 4pm.
A sweeper will follow the last riders round to check everyone gets round OK..
Course map/Route Card will be provided on sign-on, and will show feed zone.
