The Prizes:

Four people D,B&B in the Tontine
One night’s accommodation (dinner, bed and breakfast) for four in the Tontine Hotel, Peebles. The Tontine is a family run, bike-friendly hotel with bike storage and washing facilities, right in the middle of Peebles. They’re sponsoring the TweedLove local rides too, hats off to them.

Two Nights for Two at the Peebles Hydro
The Hydro is an institution, and since their next door neighbour is Glentress Forest it’s great that they do good deals for biking guests too. They’re offering a prize of 2 nights bed & breakfast for 2 people with use of leisure facilities, bike storage and bike washing facilities. The Hydro is helping with the Crank It Up night too – so extra thanks to them for that.

£25 meal voucher from Osso. The food is fantastic at Osso. End of. It’s the only Scottish restaurant to be added to the 2011 Michelin guide, and they were awarded a Bib Gourmand in recognition of their great food and good value. I’m like the tiger who came to tea in there.

Fancy a swim and lunch in a modern hotel in timeless natural surroundings? You found it. “it’s the type of resort you could spend a weekend at without moving out of’. They’ve given us a voucher for a swim in their 18 metre pool. And you get lunch too. Nice.

A dinner for two and a bottle of house wine is the prize on offer from Peebles newest restaurant and deli. It might be new but it’s getting rave reviews from everyone. The restaurant looks over the River Tweed and cast an eye over the deli counter too – where to start is the main problem…

Off The Back Barbers
Win a haircut and hot shave from Stevie – a barber that actually started in the back of a bike shop, then moved into his own premises. There’s not many barbers that have a track cycling world champion’s top on the wall, or where you can get such a good haircut.
