The Big TweedLove Festival Weekend 2018

There’s no other event like it – the TweedLove event village at Tweed Green in Peebles will be buzzing. Over the weekend of 8-10 June, ride, race, demo a new bike or just hang out at the UK’s best bike festival!

TweedLove On The Green will build on our previous expos, to create a proper, big bike festival experience, where riders (along with their friends and families) can enjoy some awesome rides, look at new kit, demo your dream mtb/road/gravel/pedal-assist bikes, hang out, have some top beer and food, listen to tech talks and enjoy some great entertainment.

Red Bull’s choice of UK bike festival  guaranteed to make summer more fun.  – it’s going to be the rockingest weekend ever. With the brands attending growing by the day, TweedLove 2018 is getting set to be a stonker.

For one weekend every year, Tweed Green in Peebles is transformed into bike heaven. Thousands of riders, thousands of cool bikes, a massive bike brand expo, a huge choice of events, the country’s top enduro race and enduro athletes, bike demos, test routes, family events, street food… and a festival bar, with some of the finest beer you’ll ever taste.

There are some amazing bike festivals around the world and we want TweedLove to be one of them. There’s nowhere else in the UK with the same immediate access to such amazing MTB, adventure and road riding, so we’re hoping to build on our past success and make an international level bike festival, where you can race, ride, shop, hang out and have a laugh with mates or family.

The best place in the UK for a bike festival?

We think so! Why? Because we also think it’s the best place in the country to ride your bike.

Look at the talent the area has produced. Check out famous valley names like the UK’s only MTB Olympian Grant Ferguson, world number three enduro rider Katy Winton, rising XC talent Isla Short and downhill star Ruaridh Cunningham for examples. Other top athletes like Mark Scott, the legend that is Crawford Carrick-Anderson, Greg Callaghan and even Danny Hart have used the valley extensively to hone their skills.
