GO e-Bike Family Ride supported by Islabikes

Saturday 9th June 2018

Assemble 4:15pm, Tweed Green, Peebles

Free entry – just turn up with your bike and helmet!

For children and their parents, and anyone else – all welcome!

Join hundreds of riders of all ages at an event that’s now a local legend. This year we’ll explore a lovely, cycle-friendly route around town with a marshal led procession starting at Tweed Green.

Please note this is not a closed road circuit, instead we’re all riding as a group around the town, with marshals and police leading the big bike procession.

Open to everyone, just bring a bike and join in the parade. Riders must be capable of confidently riding the route, which will be available to inspect on the TweedLove website in advance.

Helmet compulsory

Gloves recommended

GO e-Bike is proud to sponsor the Tweedlove Family Ride for 2018. Inclusive events like the Family Ride make cycling accessible to people of all ages and abilities and can encourage people who haven’t been on a bike in a while to give cycling a go in a relaxed environment.

Electric bikes can improve air quality through ultra-low emission commuting, support healthy lifestyles, and open access to opportunities. They can achieve this by attracting a wider range of people to cycling and increasing the number of trips people can make by bike.

GO e-Bike is a regional e-bike sharing scheme developed in partnership between the South East of Scotland Transport Partnership and Bikeplus. To find out more and to get in touch follow us on Twitter @GO_eBike
