“T” on the Green
Ride, race, demo a new bike, or just hang out at the UK’s ‘hands-on-bars’ bike festival. Over the weekend of 9-11 June, the TweedLove event village in Peebles will be buzzing like never before.
TweedLove On The Green will build on our previous expos, to create a proper, big bike festival experience, where riders (along with their friends and families) can enjoy some awesome rides, look at new kit, demo new mtb/road/electric bikes, hang out, have some top beer and food, listen to tech talks and enjoy some great entertainment.
Slamming straight into number one as Red Bull’s best mountain bike weekend you can have this year in the UK – it’s going to be the rockingest weekend ever. With the brands attending growing by the day, TweedLove 2017 is getting set to be a stonker.
There are some amazing bike festivals around the world and we want TweedLove to be one of them. There’s nowhere else in the UK with the same immediate access to such amazing MTB and road riding, so we’re hoping to build on our past success and make an international level bike festival, where you can race, ride, shop, hang out and have a laugh with mates or family.
“A weekend of triumph… a place that represented the strength and atmosphere of the cycling community in the UK”

“Would 2016 sell out and be as good as it was the previous years, under the EWS umbrella? The long and short answer to that is, ‘Oh, hell yes!’”
The best place in the UK for a bike festival?
We think so! Why? Because we also think it’s the best place in the country to ride your bike.
Look at the talent the area has produced. Peebles athlete Grant Ferguson was GB’s only MTB athlete at the Rio Olympics. Katy Winton is the highest ranked UK enduro athlete – 6th in the world. Mark Scott is also the UK’s best (world no 12) and rides here as default when he’s home. Lewis Buchanan finished world no 40 despite only doing two races before getting injured, and world no 7 Greg Callaghan has been an adopted local for a few years, and in Downhill Ruaridh Cunningham has shown the world how to go big on the World Cup circuit and his incredible performances in the Red Bull hardline.
